Private by design: everything is calculated on your device — no data leaves the page. Figures are estimates for planning, not a loan offer.
How it works.
EMI uses the standard reducing-balance formula: EMI = P × r × (1+r)n / ((1+r)n − 1), where P is the financed amount, r the monthly interest rate, and n the number of months. Early payments are mostly interest; later ones mostly principal.
Heads-up for Pakistan.
Car financing here commonly runs 3–7 years. The EMI above is principal + interest only — banks add insurance (takaful), processing fees and withholding taxes on top, so always ask for the all-in monthly figure before signing. Gaari ya ghar ke liye monthly qist ka andaza lagayein — muft aur fori.
Questions, answered
What is EMI?
EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) is the fixed amount you pay every month. Each payment covers that month's interest plus a slice of the principal, so the loan finishes exactly on schedule.
How is EMI calculated?
With the reducing-balance formula shown above. This calculator uses it directly — the same math most banks use for their schedules.
Does the EMI include insurance and fees?
No — principal + interest only. Insurance, processing fees and taxes come on top; confirm the all-in figure with your lender.
